We all know we have to exercise to help us stay healthy, but what to do?

How can we get our cardio vascular system pumping, stretch tight muscles, build strength and stamina in a relatively short space of time, with no equipment?
Sun salutations,  or as they say in sanscript Surya Namaskara, are the answer. Easily learned and only needing enough space for you to stretch out, practiced regularly you will soon notice an improvement both physically and mentally.

A salutation is a set of 12 movements, for both the left and right side of the body, synchronised with the breath which gives the body a total workout.

When beginning it is recommended to start with perhaps 4 sets of salutation, eventually building up to 12 sets daily.
Although easy to pick up it is best to seek out Instruction in the first instance and attending a regular class can help keep the momentum going.
